sometimes when you allow your blueberries to thaw, the juices come out which probably lead to the runny batter. You should try again...this recipe is great, I just tried it this morning. On every pancake recipe, I don't quite add ALL the liquid at first...I check it for consistancy.

Hopefully these are helpful tips. This recipe is very good and I really like the flavor...not too much buckwheat. I didn't have pastry flour so I substituted half cake flour/half all purpose flour...it was great!!

I don't want to give this one star, because I had SO much hope in it. I went out and bought buckwheat, SO excited to be able to make these pancakes.

WHAT A FLOP. Mine were SO runny we couldn't even flip them without them becoming pancake scramble. We do pancakes every Saturday and I've never had pancakes be such a failure in my life.

MAYBE- it was because I milled my own buckwheat flour and needed some more

MAYBE- it was because I used frozen blueberries (Thawed

However, I am a pretty successful cook and don't usually have bad cooking experiences. This was the exception. I wish I could try again, but I cannot bring myself to waste more ingredients.

This recipe is a easy and straightforward as Ellie says! The pancakes are so delicious and moist, filled with nutritious value. The best part is that this recipe yields enough servings for for than 6 people. This is probably due to the fact that the pancakes are filled with healthy ingredients your body recognizes and tells you is full. Nonetheless, I absolutely LOVE this recipe and would recommend it to anyone and everyone!!!

I was so surprised at the flavor and texture of these pancakes. They were even better than regular pancakes. I also saved the leftovers in the freezer for later. I am keeping this recipe under my favorites category. I also tried her blueberry coffeecake and it was out of this world! Can't wait to try her other recipes! This was a 5 star recipe.

My wife and I are expecting our first child soon. We have both found it difficult to find something good to eat that would coincide with the cravings. These pancakes were a perfect fix to that problem. The best part is that they are healthy for all three of us. Will cook again!

My son is a pancake conisseur and he gave this 4 stars! My whole family enjoyed the taste and texture. The blueberries definitely add enough sweetness to the pancakes without adding any other types of sweetners.
We thoroughly enjoyed this and will be in my Sunday morning breakfast rotation!

My husband and I both enjoyed these pancakes. Made as it but think the recipe probably feeds more than just 4-6 because we had quite a few pancakes leftover. Not a problem though; will freeze for fast, easy breakfasts during the week. Will make again!
