Made this recipe twice. First time halved the recipe, second time made the full amount. Second time did not have a red pepper but used yellow and orange peppers. The sauce did not thicken but by the time I put the pasta in the dish, it coated the pasta well, no problem. My family loved the dish and wanted to know about the next time I would prepare this recipe.

Yummy - easy weeknight meal. Also had sauce thickening issues so added some cornstarch.

This is delicious. I have made it several times and the family always loves it. Very easy and hassle-free recipe too! Thank you, Pioneer Woman!

This makes a bunch of food! I didn't think it would be enough for my large family so I made the mistake of doubling it. Don't do it unless you are feeding an army. I made one slight change. I did half chicken and half andouille sausage. It was great. I also had some issues with it thickening. I didn't add all of the cream and in the end had to make a flour slushy to get it to thicken to my liking. My kids and hubby loved it.

This was delicious! I gave 4 stars because the cream sauce never got thick! I followed the directions exactly and I ended up with a soupy sauce. It tasted delicious but was very light [maybe that was the point?] I will definitely make it again and try my own cream sauce.

It is delicious! Easy and fast enought! PERFECT!
My former Florida State football player ate two large helpings(1 less than he normally eats at a sitting to save a little for the next day. Which he rushed in and finished.

It took much longer than 10 minutes to prep but was well worth the effort. We loved this and will be making it regularly. I used penne pasta as I don't like fettuccine and very glad I did. The sauce clung to it inside and out. This recipe lends itself well to seafood as well. Thank You Ree!

So, so, so good! I am not a huge red pepper fan, but the way Ree incorporated it in her dish, just made me change my mind! This was an excellent, delicious dish!!! I cannot wait to make it again!

This is a deliciously decadent pasta dish! I didn't find it to be terribly spicy because the cajun spices are being paired with a dairy-cream sauce. I tasted the sauce and added a bit more cayenne and red pepper flakes cause my hubby and I like things on the spicier side. I also used half and half instead of cream because that's what I had and used a tablespoon of low-fat cream cheese to thicken the sauce. Expect this dish to take longer if you are not using a cast iron skillet and if you do not have a gas cook top. All in all a very tasty dish and I love the hint of white wine in the sauce! I always DVR The Pioneer Woman, great show!
