I was very disappointed in this candy. Cooked on low and the dry peanuts in the bottom tasted burnt. Very expensive since I had to throw it out. Won't be doing this recipe again!

I had no problem with recipe at all. I used my old slow cooker that has one to five settings. Set it on two and layered ingredients exactly as directed. Didn't remove lid for 3 hours. I made two batches and got lots of complements. Added rice crispies to second batch after cooking time was complete. Really good. Someone suggested adding coconut. Maybe I'll give that a try next time. It is a bit expensive to make but it really makes a large amount, especially if you use the mini candy liners.

Love this!!! And it's so easy to make, it's dangerous!!! One thing I noticed is the recipe was changed from what she did on the show. She used 2 bars of the German's chocolate, not just 4 squares, and 2 full bars of Almond bark.. I made mine the way she did on the show, and kept it on low. It was ready at 2 1/2 hours - and it is so good!! I'm not a fan of peanuts, so I used cashews - heavenly!!
I don't know how she got 40 pieces, I filed my cups about 1/3 full and I had about 60!! Next time I am going to try the mini-muffin cups and fill them more. I also found the foil cups work better - you can fill them without using a muffin pan and they won't lose their shape. YUMMYY!!!!

I love this recipe Trisha!! Kudos to you for something so easy and tasty without having to stand over the stove. On my second batch,I added marshmallows and a little coconut. They flew off the platter even faster than the first time I made them!!!! This is part of my new Christmas recipe box

Also followed recipe to a tee and the whole bottom burned. This forum is supposed to help with a product.. Obviously this one has some flaws and instead of bashing the reviews that say there was a problem, maybe they can get fixed instead of wasting people's valuable time and money.

Trisha! Thank you for this recipe..I made as you directed and it was a huge hit with family and friends. This recipe is so easy to make! Next time I might drizzle with caramel for an added delight! Love all your recipes!

I made this twice over the holidays. It was so easy and enjoyed by everyone. The second time, instead of using cupcake liners, I simply turned the whole batch onto 2 large sheets of parchement paper on my counter top. This saved a lot of time. After it cooled a bit, I scored deeply into 2" x 2" squares. I put each of the parchement papers on a cookie sheet and put in the refrigerator until chilled through. Then the squares were easy to snap apart into the 2" single servings. Stored in plastic containers and they were ready to travel to holiday parties!

I made this for my family, and my friends at work for Christmas. It came out perfectly! I made mine in a round Crock Pot, and I would check on the candy every 30 minutes, just to make sure the heat did not get too high. For the people who think rude comments are necessary, like "this should be 0 stars", or "complete waste of time and money", think before you talk. No one wants to hear those statements. Obviously every slow cooker is made different, just like a microwave, or an oven. Besides all of that, this is such a simple recipe, and it tastes great. I'm glad I tried this, and I will definitely make this again! Thank you Trisha!

I made this for Christmas and it was very good. I am glad I read the reviews first because the candy was ready after 2 hours. Instead of using the large muffin cups, I used the mini muffin cup papers. I lined them up on a baking sheet and filled them; this was the perfect two-bite size. Doing it this way made about 90 pieces.
