We grilled a 15 pound turkey on medium high heat for 3 hours in an aluminum tray. We based the turkey frequntly. This turned out to be the best tasting turkey we have every made inside or out. It was moist and tasteful. We are planning on using the grill for our Thanksgiving Turkey.

I have cooked my turkey this way and it is great! The turkey ends up tender and golden- perfectly browned all around. This also frees up the oven to do any last minute baking.
There is a way to collect the drippings- use a drip pan with your grill- for gravy.
