Gotta say WHOA! on the baking mix - 3 cups is far too much. Will try again with less. Even the cheese wasn't all melty in the middle. Was soooo looking forward to the sausage-cheese-biscuit flavor mentioned. Sausage flavor is very light - agree with others a dipping sauce might be good addition. Should also cut baking time to prevent drying out. Have an entire batch of these waiting to bake - will add more sausage and re-roll - wish me luck!

After reading the reviews i was alittle weiry on making these. but i did anyway. i thought they were awesome! taste like a sausage and cheese buiscuit sandwich. yummy! dont over cook them or they will get dry. i went a little light on the buiscuit mix and heavier on the cheese. eating them warm is best too.

These came out so dry I had to throw them out. I made them again and only used 2 cups of flour and they still came out like a dried up meatball. Won't make this recipe again.

I have fixed several of Trisha's recipes and they were all great..... except this one. It may have been 'operator error' but I found these pretty tasteless & tough. I tried baking at a lower temp.. making balls bigger... baking less time but alas... no matter what I did I ended up with hard tasteless sausage balls :-( Am I alone in my disappointment? BTW made 2 batches because I thought I'd done something wrong. Sorry Trisha... but am fixing the crockpot Mac n cheese today so I still love you!!!

My gang loves these! However I did play with the recipe a little...I added minced red onion and doubled the cheese. They are awesome and made at most all get togethers.

Finally, a winner. Really tasty, couldn't think of adding anything except perhaps, some bacon dripping or some other sort of oil as it was just a very tad bit dry. No bad at all. Thanks again.

do not let cook in the oven for more than 20 minutes ( key and instead of 3 cups of flour, we only put in 2 cups of flour. If you don't have an electric blender, then use the blender GOD gave you - your hands and incorporate well! They were VERY good and easy to make. THEY WILL STICK TO PAN IF YOU LEAVE THEM LONGER THAN 20 MINUTES IN THE OVEN! We served them with Sriracha Chili Sauce and they were all gone!!!!

I made these this past Saturday. I was a little worried at first because the mixture seemed dry when I first started mixing it. After a mixing a few minutes longer it was fine. Everyone loved them.

I agree with everyone, it is a quick and easy recipe, but the results are a very dry meatball looking product that is inedible. I was very dissappointed.
