Thank you for the update. My daughter made this for us tonight and mixing the honey with equal parts warm water worked perfectly. This drink was like a taste of summer in your mouth. This will become one of our summer staples. I can't wait to make it for friends.

Jon here... Booksnoop is correct. Honey in cocktails is typically diluted with one part warm water so it breaks down easily and mixes. That should have been reflected in my printed recipe.

My husband saw this on a recent Barefoot Contessa episode and asked me to make it. The drink did not turn out well. I discovered that when you put honey in a cocktail shaker with ice, the honey doesn't dissolve, it just forms a big clump on the side of the shaker. You need to mix it first with water. This recipe needs to be corrected to reflect this.
