I made this last night as an early Valentine's Dinner. It was excellent and so yummy. I was concerned that it would be too overpowering with the taste of chocolate and it was not. My husband said "this is a keeper".

My husband and I tried this tonight and it was excellent. Giada, he said you are a genius because he would have never thought to have put these things together, thinking it would be too sweet or overpowering, and it's not. I never ever would have thought of cocoa and tomatoes either!

I must have made a mistake in the measuring of salt or the recipe is off. Made last night and the sauce was so salty we could not eat. Would not waste the chocolate.A big disappointent.
