Bobby you never let us down! I did use the recipe from his personal site like another messenger reported. It was awesome. My husband raved about it and told me to make sure to write in a review! Thanks again!

For those that thought this recipe has too much ketchup (and I agree, if you go directly to Bobby's website the recipe is very different. Here it is.

    1 Cup ketchup
    1/2 Cup horseradish
    3T honey
    2T dijon mustard
    2T maple syrup
    2t worcestershire sauce
    2T ancho chile powder
salt and white pepper to taste

I thought it was just ok. My wife thought it tasted like cocktail sauce. Should I try cutting back on the ketchup and adding some worcestershire maybe?

When I tasted the sauce prior to putting it on the steak, I didn't like it at all and almost didn't use it. But, I'm certainly glad I did! It was awesome steak sauce and our guests went wild about it. The watercress and tomato salad was also a great addition.

I never use steak sauce. I like the simplicity of a good seasoned steak but I tried the steak sauce at Bobby's restaurant, MESA and I am hooked. It is the only sauce I've ever tasted that actually makes the steak BETTER!
