Loved it!! I also added garlic. Didn't have pasta when I made this used rice instead. Cooked the rice and sauce separately then combined together. Was nice and creamy and family loved it.

I like a bit of a garlic kick so I threw some in with the melted butter. Being a bit health conscious, I used reduced calorie milk (along with some cornstarch instead of cream. I also added some frozen to the boiling pasta towards the end of the cooking. The nutmeg really makes the flavors pop. I was very impressed and will definitely make it again.

I love this recipe because it is a great base for whatever I want to put in it. I can pair it with pasta, mushrooms, and peas. Or I can change the herbs and make something completly different. It is really good, easy and useful.
