This was by far one of our favs now. I made a thin sausage patty because I found the crumbles easily fell off. Thats the only thing I changed. 2 thumbs up Bobby!

Made this for my family. Half with sausage and half with out. Substituted chopped baby bello's. Use it now for main course. family and friends enjoy it and ask for it at cook outs.

I made this for a birthday dinner and no one even cared about the main dish after these hit the table. They were a huge hit, and are frequently asked for by everyone who attended the party. The only sub I made was smoked gouda. These are a tasty treat.

I didn't see the show, but saw this recipe when looking for recipes with sausage in them. I used the smoked cheese and also used New York brand italian sausage (in a single plastic casing that can be removed easily. Instead of grilling the portobello's I broiled them in the oven. I don't change anything else! Came out so spectacular, I have made them so many times by request only for parties and birthdays. One time I dropped them on the floor (was trying to open the oven and my family ate them anyway because we couldn't stand to see them wasted!

I made this for a party and everyone loved it. The next day I chopped up the leftovers and sauted it with pasta

I saw this recipe on tv the other day, and I was really excited to make it. I was incredibly disappointed when the recipe was different from what was shown on tv because it was quite different. I decided to follow this one since I couldn't remember the show completely. It was only ok. My grocery store didn't have smoked mozzarella so I used regular which may have been the problem? All in all this was only ok, and I don't think I will make it again.

This was a great recipe if you use the one that was on the show. I used chicken sausage instead adn it was great!

I watched the show today and i really liked this recipe it looked really delicious but when i went online to check it out and save it, the recipe posted was totally different from the one i watched -there were some other ingredients added and also the preparation was not quite the same. For instance, in the show, Bobby used a raw chopped spinach in the mix, however, the recipe posted says something else...why??? I'm really disappointed.

I made this last night and my husband loved it and went back for a second helping! The smoky flavor of the smoked mozarella cheese is a little too much for our tastes so for this recipe I used regular mozarella and it was perfect for us. I followed the recipe and browned the sausage and the onion slices on the grill before putting them in the saute pan. However, I am not very skilled with the grill and I thought it would have been easier to just cook the sausage and onion slices in a saute pan and then stuff the mushroom caps and grill. I also used hot italian sausage, and added some diced red bell pepper for a little extra flavor and color. Will definitely make this again but will try to simplify to save a few steps running back and forth between the grill and the stove.
