The fresh thyme really made these taste wonderful. I also substituted balsamic vinegar for the lemon juice, as I didn't have enough lemons to do this and the chicken piccata recipe.

I too paired this with the recipes from this show - Chicken Picata and
Buttermilk Mashed potatoes - YUM-O. A definate make again. This was quick and easy. No changes were necessary.

I saw this episode today and thought that they would be perfect with what I had planned for dinner tonight. My husband and I have a favorite one pan dish from Martha Stewart that includes Roasted Chicken, Potatoes & Carrots with a Rosemary & Dijon Garlic Sauce. I added these onions to the pan, and let me tell you I almost died when I tasted them! They were made to go together! The onions were so tender and sweet...they literally melted in my mouth! I will never again make our dish without these. Thanks again Ina!

My boyfriend loves onions, so I figured I'd try this recipe out. I followed it exactly and was blown away by how wonderful it was. I paired it with Ina's garlic mashed potatoes and her chicken picatta. What a perfect meal... the sweetness of the onions combined with the tartness of the sauce was perfect! Ina has done it again... no surprise!

The marinade is perfect! I tossed potatoes, carrots, and onions and they were so delicious! I will definitely make this again.

Loved this... turned boring onions into a masterpiece! I made these with the Chicken Piccata and buttermilk mashed potatoes. The flavors were wonderful together!

I made these roasted onions for dinner and they were terrific. I didn't use the extra butter called for at the end of the recipe but the flavors were still perfect. I am a huge fan of Ina's and will make this recipe again and again. Thanks Ina.

I love roasted onions and veggies but the sauce covered the flavor from the onion. I couldn't eat them. Next time I will just stick to olive oil and herbs.
