This recipe was easy and yummy! I used monterey jack cheese instead of the swiss cheese as suggested by another reviewer, simply as a time saver (pre-grated. It took closer to 20 minutes for the potatoes to become fork tender as extra cream was added to completely cover the potatoes as suggested in the recipe. These potatoes were simple to make and absolutely delicious....

I liked this recipe very much. It is much easier than traditional scalloped potatoes. I think it could use a bit more salt for my taste.

Always looking for quick recipes. I took this to a company potluck and it was a winner. Followed your recipe to the letter and it was perfect. A+

I used 2% milk instead of cream and left the skin on the potatoes. I used the cheese I had in the fridge (1 cup of cheddar and 1 cup of creamy havarti. I then topped it all with a little Italian bread crumbs. Fabulous!

these were the easiest and best scalloped potatoes I have ever made, and i have made them alot. I only had brie cheese on hand so i ended up using that and it was soooo creamy.

this was such a simple yet rich side dish to make...the most time it took was actually peeling and slicing the potatoes...if you have someone to help do that it makes it even faster...as a tip...I put the swiss cheese in the freezer for a little while to firm up so it would shred easier...we really enjoyed these potatoes...I made the whole sunday dinner...these potatoes, the cola braised roast and the smothered peas plus my own salad and rolls and my family ate it up....
