Absolutely easy and delicious. My first time ever cooking fresh string beans. I sliced and added a few mushroom I had on hand, yum!!

I made this dish for a family Christmas party buffet for about 100 people. It was the only thing that was gone! More than 12 people came up to me for the recipe!

This recipe takes just a few minutes. My daughter who has hated green beans for the past 11 years absolutely loves these. I was able to get her to try them because the house smelled like "really good, garlicky pasta". Everyone loves these.

there used to be an Ina recipe exactly like this only with shallots instead of garlic. its our favorite green beans of all time. truly delicious and super simple.
