I cooked the turkey and the dressing for this years thanksgiving (2008 and it was AWESOME! Received alot of compliments- even my brother, who doesn't appreciate anyones cooking- haha!
On the dressing- for a little "kick" to the dressing, use spicy sausage instead of just regular. Makes for an awesome flavor and a hit with those who like a little spice with their food. On a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being totally spicey, and 1 being barely noticeable, this would give you a 3 to 4.
REALLY enjoy this site and the foodnetwork channel! Thanks for the help and tips! :

Used cooking bags cuz i'm always worried that turkey will dry out. Renee's method produced a very moist & tasty bird. YUM!

I was intrigued to try her recipe since she is a Butterball helpline expert but would have liked to see more specifics on the duration for cooking the bird. What?s the ruled of thumb after 2 hrs 10 minutes? Also, fails to state what temp or how long to cook the stuffing.

The turkey turned out moist and the dressing was quite tastey.
