Blackberry Italian sodas are just about my favorite drink ever, so I tried this recipe with blackberries and it worked out so well. Delicious. I can't wait to try it with blueberries, but it's a nice base recipe that seems like it would do beautifully with a lot of different fruits.

Alton Brown was right -- once you taste the homemade blueberry drink you won't want to purchase any from the store. It is the best fruit juice I have ever had. It is delicious without the carbonated water. Thanks so much!

Hi,
Overall the syrup is very good and when you put enough in it makes for good blueberry pop. However, you need to use a lot to make a soda so I'm not sure it was worth the whole bag of blueberries. Also, it was quite a bit thinner than I expected.
