Absolutely the BEST popcorn I have ever had. It is sensational! I never have an important movie watching without it.
Forget ANYONE who's pedestrian tastes may have prompted them to give it a low rating. The reason it comes out too salty is the difference in the kinds of salt we use in the States. Just use half a teaspoon or so. The only thing you need to do is stir as your pour, or else the spicy butter will clump and not evenly coat the popcorn.

The 3-star rating almost made me not make this after seeing it on TV, but I read that most people said it was too salty, so I halved the amount of salt, and this was delicious!! Still a tad salty, so I will do a quarter amount (1 tsp of salt next time. I put it in a 350 degree oven for 3-5 more minutes to give it that crunch back. I love the spice combinations, surprisingly. If everyone would try this recipe from here on out, halving the amount of salt, or quartering it, this recipe could easily be 4 or 5 stars!

This was so salty it was inedible! I hate having to throw food away, but this went right into the garbage. The flavor combination was good, but I would cut the salt back to ONE teaspoon, not four.

Simple, and so yummy! I loved the complexity of the flavor profile. Sweet, savory and spicy all at once. I made the recipe in a half batch because it was only for me, and it still worked wonderfully. Thanks Nigella!

Sorry Nigella, this sure looked great on TV, but I luckily tasted it first before trying it on guests. Like others have commented this is unbelievably salty (wish I had read the reviews first. I love salty, buttery popcorn, but I couldn't eat more than a handful of this. Loved the cumin, paprika, cinnamon and sugar combination though. Will try again and salt afterwards to taste.

SUCH a unique flavor combination, and extremely addictive. I make this for all my Christmas parties and, this year, I'm making it to give as gifts, as well.

I really like the flavor, but the recipe called for a little too much salt. We needed to drink a lot of water after eating it. I usually don't like popcorn, but I would definitely try this one again, with less salt of course.

I would make this again but with HALF the salt, it was WAY too salty.
Good flavor, I would have melted the salt and sugar more in the butter, it was a bit thick and didn't pour as smooth as it looked on television.

I was looking for a quick easy way to make popcorn differently tonight, and this was a hit with everyone from age 2 to 32
