this recipe converted the non brussels sprouts eaters at Thanksgiving dinner. Everyone loved them, even my mother in law. Easy to make - I actually got everything cut and prepped in the AM and then just had to make them in the pan. Instead of the dash of sugar, I added a splash of real maple syrup... unbelievably delish!!

I first made this 4 years ago for Thanksgiving. Since then I have had to double the recipe - it is the most requested recipe. We have a lot of picky eaters in our family and we've never had any leftovers. Even kids love it!

I took this dish to our Church Thanksgiving Dinner last night and was it ever a hit. So many asked me for the recipe. Thanks for a great recipe.

I have made this for 2 holiday parties so far and have gotten SO many compliments on it! This recipe is one that will convert those who think they do not like brussels sprouts into those who are wanting second helpings! Having everything chopped in advance (including the bacon makes this recipe a cinch! Delicious!

Absolutely delicious!!
I followed the recipe except for the following (small changes:
I used about 1/8 of a cup of white wine to deglaze the pan after the bacon had cooked, while I had the onions and garlic in it.
I also used a pinch of brown sugar instead of white sugar for some extra caramelization.

UN-BE-LIEVE-ABLE! This dish was the hit of the holiday feast this past Thanksgiving! Everyone raved about it. Anyone who tried it, loved it and wanted more. I ended up giving out this recipe to all the cooks in my family and plan on making the dish again for New Years.
I opted not to use any sugar... it wasn't nessecary by any means.
This recipe will be used for many holidays, for years to come.

This recipe was easy and good. It makes boring Brussels Sprouts more flavorful and interesting. A nice way to cook them.
