I also have read negative responses directed at Amy's style and I don't get it. I watched her whole show for the first time today, and I think she does a great job, and does come across as the girl next door. Can't wait to try this one!

I made this last night and it was great, even though I used out-of-season plums and whole wheat flour!

While my friends have requested regular flour in the future, this was still a big hit -- I can't imagine what it would be like with in-season fruit.

I thought the whole-wheat flour was good and a little bit healthier than if I'd used processed flour.

    Easy to make, very pretty.

If you watched the show, Amy made the Galette with plums. It is obviously a type-o on the list of recipes under episodes. If you click on Apricot Galette, the recipe clearly states PLUM GALETTE. Some of you people are so critical. Don't you have anything better to than be negative about every little detail. And for those of you who don't like Amy, why do you watch and comment on her show? Find something better to do!

I used Amy's basic recipe and technique to make a pear galette and finished it when it came out of the oven with a paradise jelly glaze (quince/green apple/cranberry. It was surprisingly quick and easy, delicious and elegant.

I really loved the rustic sort of look to this galatte. Turning the dough over made it sooooooo easy to get a great looking "pie" with little effort. I normally dislike making a conventional pie crust, so this is a new favorite of mine!!! I will have to try the recipe with other fruit.

On the show, Amy says that any stone fruit can be used in this recipe. So just sub apricots for the plums.

I read the recipe and don't see any apricots, this is a plum recipe as far as I can tell. Were the apricots omitted in this recipe. It sounds wonderful and would like to try it. So far I've loved all Amys recipes, and I'm enjoying the show.
