Great recipe. Super easy to make. No crust.. and you don't miss it. I grated fresh nutmeg right when the pie came out of the oven.

made this twice. 1st time, i followed directions as written. turned out too custardy. Tried making it a 2nd time and used 3/4 cup Bisquick instead of 1/2 cup. The extra Bisquick Made it way better... more like a pie (rather than a custard. But this is actually very addicting. seriously tastes sooooo good!! I actually posted about this recipe on my blog anickh(dotblogspot(dotcom

Thanks Robin! I lost this recipe over ten years ago. I looked at the time and then forgot about it. I always think of my grandparents when I have this. It is really great just by itself but is also great with fruit.

This is a custard, not a pie. Too much butter (pools in bottom of pie plate after baking. I added pumpkin pie spice to mine for some flavor. I wouldn't make this again. Tastes o.k. but it's no kind of pie. Most likely from the Bisquick cookbook of impossible pies. Some are obviously better than others. Surprised Robin would cook and serve something this fattening.

Ist time posting. My family and friends love this recipe. I needed a quick and delicious dessert for company. This one fits the bill. Robin Miller's recipes always stand up to the plate. Never let me down. We wish she were back on TV.

Very good. Very sweet. I might reduce the sugar next time. Total hit with my kids. I heard... "Best pie ever!" and "Mom, when I grow-up and move out I'm going to need this recipe."

Made this last night for dessert, and it was a complete hit between my husband, daughter, and I! We loved it! I added some cinnamon, nutmeg, and pumpkin pie spices. My husband said that it tasted like a Thanksgiving pie and went back for seconds (and wanted to go back for thirds! We finished the pie off with our breakfast this morning, and it was just as good cold as it was warm!! I highly recommend this recipe!

Just made this. Takes 10 minutes to put together, which is great for an amazing end result. I did reduce the sugar amount to a little less than a cup and added a cup of unsweetened shredded coconut. It's so good, it's difficult not to have seconds and thirds...

I made this pie twice in the last week - once following the recipe and once adding 1 cup of coconut. Both were a hit. Everybody loved them, even those that do not like coconut. I am making several of these pies tomorrow to take to a potluck, take to my daughters work and to my granddaughters work. I LOVE THIS PIE. Easy, easy, easy with great results!!!
