I cooked it for 30 minutes and took it out because it was light brown with a jiggly center. Cooled it and found it still liquid under the top layer. Cooked it for 15 more minutes. Still liquid but delicious. Any tips on what I did wrong?

I am sitting her as I write eating this wonderful pie ! It is a bit sweet so the next time I will cut back on sugar. I am going to try adding a little nutmeg or cinnamon. This was so very easy ! I would serve this in a minute to company . Will definalty make over and over again ! Even my 8 yr old loved it !

This pie is delicious, but it does not have the taste of a traditional buttermilk pie. This pie is sweet, but not at all custard-y. And there is definitely NOT too much sugar in the recipe, but I tend to over-flavor everything, so I would just make the pie to your own tastes.

I LOVE the idea of mixing the ingredients in the blender. The whole prep took me less than 5 minutes. I will definitely make this again, but I am still searching for the perfect buttermilk pie (so far, House of Pies in Houston holds the title.

I made this for my moms birthday. I followed the advice of some other reviewers and only used 1 scant cup sugar. I served it with blueberries and whipped cream. Everyone loved it and there was none left. My mom said it tasted like cheesecake. I think with the extra sugar it would have been too sweet, but with one cup it was just perfect, which is why I gave this recipe 4 stars and not 5. But made with less sugar it is def. a 5 star pie. especially because you can practically make it with your eyes closed.

I make this pie often but instead i add 2 teaspoons of ground ginger. It is delicious! I also only use 1 cup of sugar.

I had never even heard of Buttermilk Pie until I saw Robin fix it. It looked to good to be true. Believe me, it tastes fantastic. One thing I changed was to cut the amount of sugar down to 1 cup and I used Splenda instead of granulated sugar. Absolutely delicious!!

This is an easy pie and impressive really for is simplicity..

I've also been making this pie for as long as it's been on the Bisquick box. Nice to see it being presented to a new audience via food tv. Just please don't say that Anita invented it.

I was surprised at how good this pie tasted because of how simple the ingredients list! I did substitute the sugar for Splenda Sugar Blend (conversion chart is right on the back of the bag and no one could tell the difference!
