Made this recipe as directed and everyone loved it! Even those who don't like hummus liked the hint of cheese flavor of the dip. I used vegetable crackers to dip with and the flavors melded well with the dip. I will make this again!

I alter this recipe by just a bit because I am NOT a fan of bacon, but LOVE cumin. I omit the bacon step and just add two to three times the amount of cumin recommended. Also, I add a bit more sour cream since I don't use sour cream for anything else and don't want to waste the left over sour cream. I have made this for friends and family and EVERYONE loves the dip and keeps asking me for the recipe. It only takes me about 25 minutes and its super easy! Everyone should trip this recipe!

this is satisfying, quick, healthy, and a complete winner with my guests! It also sates appetites long enough to give a solo cook time to prepare main courses! I made the french dip and saw this recipe in the same episode additions!
What a life saver, and I, for once, stuck to a recipe and would'nt change a thing!

Don't waste your time. This recipe stunk - literelly. Took hours for the smell to leave my kitchen. It tasted awful, looked even worse, and was an absolute waste of ingredients.

i really liked this much to my surprise! i changed some of the ingredients though. I had chick peas handy so I used those in place. I used green onions, fiesta blend cheese, and hot sauce in the final blend together. It turned out great!

I made this for a holiday party and it disappeared. It's so rich and declicious, it was talked about well after the bowl was empty. And I have made it 3 times since and will continue to make it for all my parties. It's become a staple!

I made this dip for the first time over a year ago, and it was a huge hit! I add a chopped and seeded jalepeno to the mixture for a little extra kick. I also mix most of the crumbled bacon in, and top it with more cheddar cheese and the remaining bacon. Stick it in a 350 oven for 5 or 6 minutes until the cheese on top is bubbly and melted. I serve it with Fritos Scoops and bagel chips. So good!!! I've probably made it 6 or 7 times now, everyone loves it!

This was a very tasty dip & great alternative to the usual fare. It was great with crackers & veggies. Would recommend making the day before, so all the flavors have time to fully develop.
