the prep was easy, and although the smell was awesome, it wasn't very good.

This is definately not my taste... you have to really like red wine to like this dish. but i thought I'd give it a try, just wasn't for me.

Not a whole lot of flavor. Wouldn't make it again.

I'm usually nervous about cooking thick pork chops, can't seem to get them right- they always come out dry, but this recipe was a terrific surprise, the chops were juicy and delicious.

The pork chops were good, especially for the small amount of work that goes into them. But, while the smell of them searing was fantastic, the subsequent flavor was a bit of a let down.

It was good, but I did alter it a bit. I added the olive oil into the marinade, chopped one yellow onion into it, marinaded it for about 5 hours, and grilled them instead. It was good, but I felt it was lacking something.

I liked the general idea, however the flavor was shallow. I haven't really played with this recipe yet, but I do feel it has potential. It should probably be served with a sauce and spatzle.

if you change the recipe and dont like it maybe you should have kept it to yourself. the other thing is if you dont like cooking with wine why would you try this anyway. thats whats stupid.
anyway it was pretty good. i rated it 5 stars to offset these other idiots. it was a 4 for me though.
