    Used this recipe for our church's Mardi Gras night. I made about 3 gallons and it was liked very much by everyone who tried it. Very little was left for me to take home afterwards. Those leftovers tasted even better for lunch the next day.

    was not the gumbo I grew making here in South Louisiana. More like a soup!!

    This was my first time making gumbo and i was pretty nervious. the first day i made and ate the gumbo it was okay. but the next day i had some of the leftovers and it was amazing. maybe it had to settle overnight but this is an awesome recipe.
