This is by far the best applesauce I HAVE EVER EATEN!!! Warm or cold it is sure to please even the picky eaters. It is soooooo easy to make, and I have even added some flour, put it in a pre-baked pie shell and topped with oatmeal topping for a delicious apple pie!
    THANK YOU ALTON!!!

Made this apple sauce without the brandy, and my kids LOVED it!

Quick and easy...subtle flavors...thought the cognac would impart more flavor but this is terrific applesauce.

MMM..I like the buttery flavor in this applesauce, I omitted the liquor, since we do not consume alcohol in our home, and it was mainly for the kids anyway, but still is delicious. Next time I'll use a little bit more juice, so the texture will be a little bit softier, I thought it was a bit dry, but the flavor is very tasty. This was a good way to use some of the apples in our apple tree. Thanks Alton!

Very simple. I didn't think the liquor added much to the flavor, and will likely omit the next time around.

Blows Motts out of the water. Great texture, flavorful yet not too sweet. Cognac is a nice touch.

Very Good, Left a little chunky for a fuller body. Also, tried mixed with blueberries and it was very tasty!

Recipie easy to follow and use of microwave a real time saver and still ahd a home-made taste.

If you don't mind peeling and coreing a few apples, you're only minutes away from some of the best apple sauce you've ever eaten. This is an awesome recipe!
