I make these ALL the time for events and parties! I've never come home with leftovers and I always get a lot of compliments. They are delicious!

Actually, very bland. Thought the creamcheese would give it a little more "pizzazz". I looked through some of the other crab/mushroom recipes. I think if you mix & match the other ideas together, ex: breadcrumbs on top before baking; jack cheese in addition to the cream cheese, etc.
I also agree with the other reviewer about the olive oil. Too much! And you do have to soak it up. A little non stick cooking spray is all you need.

My family fights over these. I cook the mushrooms about 15-20 minutes before stuffing them.

I may be spoiled because I have an aunt who makes the best stuffed mushrooms ever, but I found these thoroughly unimpressive. They were bland which I was surprised by because I actually added more salt, pepper, and garlic plus a little horseradish. I would absolutely never make this recipe again.

While the taste was fine I was puzzeled with the addition of olive oil to the mushrooms. As we all know, mushrooms release alot of moisture on their own. I was shocked at the pool of olive oil in the shrooms after baking. Literally had to pour it out before stuffing. Even after that I found myself mopping up the oil with a paper towel. Skip the olive oil!

This recipe was sooooooooo easy and sooooooo tasty! I love crab stuffed mushrooms but I must say that I was little intimidated to make it! My husband was extremely happy with how they turned out! I love you Paula...and so does my husband!

Very good as a base. You could add some seasonings, sauted onions or maybe bread or ritz crumbs.

THIS ONE IS A KEEPER! THEY ARE WONDERFUL. THE ONLY THING I DID ALITTLE DIFFERENT WAS ADDED BREADCRUMBS TO THE SHREDDED PARM AND ROLLED THE TOPS OF THE MUSHROOMS IN IT BEFORE I BROILED. EXCELLENT!

The recipe is good but thought its too cheesy. I try to cut down the amount of cream cheese next time.
