Meet the Regulars
Pete the Intern
Working for an entry-level wage and all the leftover conference room sandwiches he can eat, Office Intern Extraordinaire Pete is always there when George has a task that calls for guts, gumption and of course, good humor. Whether it's chasing chickens in a race against a microwave meal, providing malodorous hosiery for the stinky sock/stinky cheese challenge or powering the world's first and finest bicycle turkey rotisserie--this kid's got what it takes to get the job done.
AJ
AJ is your basic hardware man. He's completely unflappable when George shows up with some bizarre food related request. AJ was first consulted when George was attempting to pry open a giant ostrich egg without breaking the yolk. He's a full-timer at Crossroads Hardware in Westport, Conn.
Hugo
A friendly diner cook who knows his diner food. His down-to-earth attitude is a treat to watch as George puts him to the test with out-of-the-norm cooking challenges. Hugo helped George cook his ostrich egg sunny side up in the first episode of Ham on the Street, and has made regular appearances ever since. He hails from Ecuador and cooks at the Family Diner in Norwalk, Conn.
Bubba
This guy knows his beer and can help you choose the right bottle of suds for any purpose. Bubba helped George turn his beer can chicken recipe into a miniature beer can Cornish hen and prepare a giant beer can turkey feast in the grilling episode. He currently drinks in Connecticut.
Professor Ron Perkins
This genius was a high school physics teacher before he began selling educational science teaching toys (his true passion). Professor Perkins is George's first call when he has a scientific experiment to perform. He currently operates Educational Innovations in Norwalk, Conn.
Clayton Taylor
This owner of Camp Taylor in Columbia, N.J., a cozy and friendly family campground, helped George dig up his "bean hole" using his giant backhoe in the camping episode. Camp Taylor Campground is located on 400 pristine acres adjacent to the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area and the Appalachian Trail, New Jersey's most majestic terrain.
