Read on for answers to our most frequently asked programming time zone questions.1. I live on the West Coast. Am I watching the same programs at the same time as the East Coast?
No. Food Network airs its programs for two different time zones: Eastern and Pacific. Pacific viewers will watch shows in the same order as Eastern viewers, but because of the time difference, Pacific viewers willl see those shows three (3) hours after they've aired on the East Coast. So if you tune into Food Network at 6 pm in California, your friends in New York are watching the shows that you'll see at 9 pm.

Find your area's program lineup by clicking on the appropriate time zone at the top of our TV Schedule . 2. Why does your Mountain program schedule not match the programs I'm seeing on TV?
Mountain time is traditionally one hour ahead of Pacific time. However, not all Mountain zone cable companies program according to Pacific time. If the Mountain TV schedule on FoodNetwork.com doesn't match the programs you're seeing on TV, click on the other time zones at the top of our TV Schedule until you find the schedule that best corresponds with your TV lineup. It may be that even though you live in Colorado, you're watching the same shows at the same time as those who live in North Carolina.

3. I own satellite TV (Dish, Direct, etc.). Which time zone applies to me?
Eastern. Satellite technology doesn't require a time shift, so the default time zone for all Food Network programming is East Coast. To see the program schedule, use the Eastern version of our TV schedule.

4. Where on my TV does it tell me which time zone I'm in?
Your TV won't tell you. Your cable company determines the time zone in which you'll receive your programming. Call your cable company for details.5. How can I see the week's worth of programming in advance?
