Ashley Vicos stretches her cake decorating ability and her vocal chords, when she's tasked with making a cake for the South By Southwest Festival, where country legends Asleep at the Wheel will be performing. Ashley sets out to make a cake that incorporates all aspects of the festival - film, music and technology, but she soon begins to realize her ambitious plan may include too many detailed elements. With only three days and no Mary, Erin must step up to the plate and prove she's ready for a promotion. But the sights and the sounds of the festival prove to be a distraction for both Erin and Dennis - leaving Ashley alone in the kitchen. A recording studio visit with Asleep at the Wheel provides Ashley with a chance to show off her singing ability - but it's the unfinished cake that takes center stage as she races the clock to complete her masterpiece.
