Thanksgiving Candle

Make a candle that smells like pie from Food Network Magazine.

Set a few cans aside as you're making Thanksgiving dinner and use them to make candles: Buy wicks and shredded wax at a crafts store, then melt the wax according to the directions and add two tablespoons of fragrance oil -- try oils scented like pumpkin pie, cranberry and apple crisp. Cut a wick an inch longer than the height of the can, then tie the end of the wick to a pencil and place the pencil across the top of the can so the wick hangs into the center. Then slowly pour in the wax. Let the candle cool overnight, trim the wick and light it up!
