We were greeted by a friendly hostess who seated us. The server came out after a few minutes and I greeted him. He grunted, dumped water into our glasses, and slammed them down on the table before storming off. We opted to leave.
I insisted the hostess report this to the general manager. She stated this is an ongoing issue that is generally ignored. I also mentioned our experience to the adjoining hotel’s front desk, who said they would talk to their management but it is a frequent problem. To date I've heard nothing back about the issue.
I've dined in some of the best steak houses in the U.S. and while the price points here approach what you would expect from a good steak house, the apathy and poor customer service are the worst I've experienced. I received better service at the McDonald's drive through when I ordered a salad for lunch the day prior.
