At this eatery, the special is comfort food with flair. Guy is a fan of the jalapeno pesto flank steak sandwich with sauteed bell peppers and Jack cheese. The brined and smoked pork chops with homemade apple sauce, potato pancakes and sour cream also receive rave reviews.

Visited R&A's yesterday with the family. One hour wait to get in but not too bad. Service is just so-so. Before we were really even greeted the waitress was telling us what they were out of on the menu. They're so busy it's like you get lost in the shuffle and the place is small. Staff was nice and friendly for the most part.
Food was excellent. I had the Down South with sausage, corn meal panckaes, eggs were all great. Others had the burger with portabello that they said was really good and the kids had pancakes, fresh and all really good. Bit disappointed that the mac & cheese is not on the menu on weekends.
Good but not sure it's worth an hour wait.
