I like Joe’s because one can order a tasty rare burgur and confident that the beef is pure. The sides of beef are cut up and ground on the premises. For that kind of treat I find it priced right with good flavors.

Great burger and the owner and people are as friendly as can be...I mentioned we came because we had seen him on the show and he sat down and talked with us telling us his history and how much fun the show was.....made us feel very welcome and we will be returning there.

My fiance and I tried this place last night because we are both fans of DDD. We, too, wanted to try a place recommended by Guy. Unfortunately, we have to agree with the first reviewer. The meat was good, but the bun was stale. The mushrooms on the mushroom burger were cold. The burgers overall were okay, but not spectacular.
What was most disappointing was the price! For the original burger, a mushroom burger, a large order of fries, and two cokes we paid $45. (They additionally charge $1 a slice for cheese on your burger. The food wasn't terrible, but certainly not worth the price. The whole place was devoted to their appearance on DDD, so it was just a tourist trap. We didn't really see a whole lot of locals there. Sorry, Guy. We love your show, but this place was a total miss for us.
