The authentic Mexican recipes make the food at this family-operated restaurant irresistible. Guy liked the juicy flavor of the carnitas, which can be ordered in a taco, burrito, enchilada or torta. The pork stew pozole also impressed Guy; he recommends topping it with cabbage, cilantro and lime.

We were driving through Santa Barbara and googled DDD. Took a few tries to locate Lito's but well worth the diversions. Once inside it was full of locals having lunch... a very good sign. We ordered a burrito with carne asada and a tamale. I was convinced we would never finish all of the grande burrito, yet it was so good we left nothing behind. The salsa is fresh and lively too. We loved the food and the local feel of the tiny lunch spot.
