A British couple visits California and what do they decide to do? Start a British comfort food shop! Guy and his son loved these "real deal" fish and chips made with wild Alaskan cod. The bangers with a side of mash also garnered praise. Feeling brave? Try the fried haggis balls.

What a wonderful little shop! The folks were so very nice and the fish and chips were fantastic. You really should make this a stop when you are in the area.

Best fish and chips that I have had since Mary Jane's in Cromer... a little town on the North Sea, north of Norwich, England! This guy really knows his stuff, and don't forget the mushy peas! Now, if only I could find a true English Pub!

Wanted to try Mac's on the way up the coast for a late lunch and my husband and I had the fish and chips and clam chowder. Chowder was some of the best I've ever had and the fish and Ichips were just perfect. I should have had the smaller portion because the regular was large enough and I can't imagine what the 'whale' portion looks like. Fantastic place - we'll be back!
