After seeing this restaurant on food network I was on a mission to try their infamous coconut fried chicken. Unfortunately, my experience there was not memorable or flavorful in the least bit. The chicken was not crispy ( the coconut batter was rather raw, and the chicken lacked in flavor. Not only was I disappointed with the food, but I was ripped off, the man at the register was trying to up sell the size of chicken and gave/charged me for a larger size than I had asked for. I'm rather disappointed by the food network and the restaurant refferals that their chefs make. You would think that they would hold the reputation of their tastebuds with a little integrity. This is the 5th restaurant that I have wasted money on in an effort to try meals that these chefs apparently rave about, and finding that these reviews are deceptive and the food rancid. The cleanliness of the restaurant was questionable as well.
