For more than 60 years, politicians and hungry tourists have ventured to DC's Tune Inn for classic, greasy dive food. Guy raved about the Bon Ton sauce used generously for such specials as Joe's West Virginia sandwich made with American cheese and the beer-battered burger, dripping with flavor.

This dive bar is a great breakfast spot too. Best homemade corned beef hash, omelettes and chocolate chip pancakes in town. The staff is friendly and remembers you on repeat visits. The rebuild after the fire kept the "dive" vibe and made it better. The Tune Inn is a Capitol Hill neighborhood gem not to be missed.

I'm being generous giving this 2 stars. The only thing worse than the service was the food. The server tried hard but there was only one server and one bartender for the whole place. Granted it's not a big place but 12 tables for one server is just bad management. The beer battered burger was an overlooked burger in soggy, greasy batter. Same with the fish & chips. Sorry Guy, this experience makes me think twice about trying other restaurants you review.
