Singleton Seafood Shack has Cajun fried shrimp, steamed shrimp and even shrimp burgers (and the seafood's so local you can hear the boats pull up). But Guy's DDD trip saw another side to the shack with The Sheepshead signature fish, perfectly grilled with Singleton's own blackening spice blend.

We are newbies to the Jacksonville area. I saw this on Guy's foodnetwork.channel.
My blackened shrimp plate was good.
But the bathroom was appalling.
They need to rebuild this place if they want to keep newbies happy.
I did not enjoy waiting on a vacant toilet, the place is a 2 - seater. And with half the ppl with kids, there was no place to replace a diaper.

My wife and I have eaten twice at singeltons and loved it both times just great old fried seafood, not trying to be anything pretencious or phony. We love this place, we are frrom new england origionally and have really missed good fried seafood until we found this place, if you are looking for braised salmon ribs with a mango chutney and a side of proscuitto rapped monkfish cheeks than don't bother, but if you love great comfort seafood cook well and a cold beer then try this place and you won't be dissapointed

Was not what I expected, a bit on the greasy side.
