We drove 2 hrs to try 13 gypsies out after diners, drive-in, and dives, wow what a huge let down. this possibly is one the the most over priced, worse than waffle house food, tried the
bacon salad stuffed roma tomatoes, come on!!! really tomatoes refrigerated and not ripe, bacon salad was tasteless!!! we tried the angus roast beef pressed sandwich. they bought the roast beef I know from Save -A-Lot supermarket, this RB was the same garbage that arby,s uses, it is piece's of beef pressed together and moulded, garlic shrimp was such small portion and that was good because I can do better with a pie plate and sterno can and garlic powder from big lots, shrimp has to be frozen!! needless to say, don't waste your time and money, please 13 gypsies learn to cook good burgers and re-open, or just close and end the pretend fau high end food purveyor. Guy you where WAY!!!!! OFF!!!!!!!!

I agree. The food was average. They seemed to try to convince the public that it is a high-end restaurant, but they do not have the elements it takes to be high-end: the food is average, the portions minuscule, the host was not very welcoming or obliging, the tables cramped, and they charge quite a bit for what they provide (especially by Jacksonville's standards. I frequent Riverside and Avondale often, and have no intention of returning to this restaurant. (The service is wonderful, though.
