Stopped on our way thru on I-70 excited to try a DDD-featured eatery. We were REALLY disappointed. We should have known based on the 3 cars in the parking lot and 4 people inside. I had the pork tenderloin sandwich and the other 3 in my group got items featured on DDD. It was average food, at best, in below average surroundings.

We stopped in on way back to Fowler, IN after a weekend in Kentucky. My husband had the Mexican burger with freshly made verde salsa and I had the Western burger with BBQ sauce and bacon. Both were delicious and service was great! We are taking home some coconut cream pie to eat later and understand it is homemade!

My husband and I visited the Steer-In on Sept12,2012. We found the restaurant to be not the cleanest place we have ever visited. The food was ok. We had the beef and noodles (which were very doughy and the corned beef sandwich that only had a couple of slices of corned beef on it. We traveled many miles out of our way to visit--not so sure it was worth it!

Dined at the Steer-In on July 21 with a large group. We called ahead so there was no wait. We ordered the meatball sub, Rueben, meatloaf, pancakes, BLT, breaded tenderloin, and Philly Cheesesteak. We cleaned our plates! Everything was delicious! We cleared our plates! Unfortunately we did't save room for the homemade pies for dessert. There is so much to choose from on the menu, and we will definately be back. Bring a sweater though. The AC was cranking, and we were freezing. At the end of your meal, they give you a tack to put your location on their map. GREAT PLACE! Cannot wait to go back!
