Over priced. I had a pastrami sandwich and side of potato salad, which cost $15. The pastrami was good but not much meat on the sandwich especially for the price. The potato salad did not tast like it was made there but like it was bulk purchased and bland. I have eaten at many deli's in NY and this does not come even close in the amount of food and cost. In NY you get good portions for a much better price.

I have lived in Colorado for the last 14 years, and as such have not been to Shapiro's in that time, but I can tell you that if you are in the area and want a great Deli sandwich, Shapiro's is the place to go. Fabulous deli meats, sandwiches, bagels, and soups. At Shapiro's, you will get what you would expect from a Jewish New York Deli, but it's in Indianapolis.

So...so...GOOD! Love Shapiro's Deli! You cannot go wrong with their corned beef sandwich. It is huge, and makes for great leftovers. Save room for dessert, or plan on taking something home.

Visiting Indianapolis and heard about Sharpio's from Food Network. It was easy to find with ample parking. Food is beyond awesome. Large portions for the price. I had the corned beef sandwich and chicken noodle soup. They were the best I've had and look forward to coming back the next time in town. Highly recommend visiting this place.

We were driving on I-70 to Ohio for my grandmother's funeral. My sister looked up restaurants that had been featured on Food Network and we found this little gem of a deli right off the highway in Indy. Oh my gosh! We were so pleasantly surprised at how much variety they had and the quality of their food. We were VERY impressed. My sis and her husband even planned their trip home so they could make a stop at Shapiro's again. Will definitely try to stop there again next time we're up that way. YUM!!!!

When we walked in it looked like a traditional cafeteria. We were thinking we could get a good meal at a great price as we were on a budget. Not so! We only could afford 2 sandwiches (I had a roast beef sandwich & my friend tried the pastrami. No sides and only water to drink and it cost $25.00. It was NOT worth the trip to Indy, the taste or the hassel of looking for this place. Indy has much better offerings at much better prices. Don't waste your time.
