It is a cupcake, but definitely not a good one. The cake is thick and lumpy. The flavors are short of flavorful. The icing does not taste homemade but Duncan Hinesish. The presentation is simple but sophisticated. However, the cinnamon topping on the red velvet does not make for a tasty combo. I'm not sure if it was not a good day for the fairies or why the magic they claim was missing. I regret buying the overpriced Groupon and should have opted to whip up my own box of cake mix. I make a delectable chocolate sour cream frosting.
