    I was in New Orleans on Business, and took some advice from several "locals" to try Katie's; Man-o-man was I glad I did!! I had a 1/2 dozen Char-grilled Oysters and a cup of Chicken and Andouille Gumbo; A W E S O M E !!!! I am a trained chef and rather picky about seafood in particular, but this place did not disappoint! Met the owner and chef and I tell you what, with that kind of passion, it's no wonder that place is as good as it is! If I had an extra thumb, I would give it 3 thumbs up!!

    A road trip recently took my daughter and me through New Orleans. We selected to dine at Katie's for it's range of food choices, moderate prices, and the best of local cuisine. Katie's is an undeniable New Orleans dining treasure! The delightful Crawfish Beignet defies description of it's mouth-watering goodness! The Catfish Menuniere, also a local dish, is incredibly delicious! And,The Boudreaux Pizza is equally another WOW! Each dish deserves highest praise! We also enjoyed a perfectly created Blackberry Basil Martini, and for dessert, a Death by Chocolate Martini! Katie's charm, service, and exceptional food made this experience unforgettable! Accolades to the Chef and his Staff!!!

    I received a Groupon offer for Katie's and then read it was featured on DDD. I visited Katie's with my family and we cannot rave about this place enough. Everything we ordered was great and the Crawfish Beignet was one of the best things we ever ate and the Legend was much larger than I expected and tasted even better the next day along with the leftover pizza my son had.
    We have friends visiting soon from Florida and we will be visiting Katie's again with them.

    We went there last Sept. the food and service was wonderful. I'm so glad they rebuilt. Unforgettable visit.
