I rate this as a NOLA local. If it was POSSIBLE to have a TERRIBLE meal in that incredible city of FOOD, this place has achieved It! We were the ONLY 4 people there BUT the service was horrible, my sister-in-law experienced what others who reviewed on the urbanspoon said...they were OUT of gumbo and OUT of bread pudding (HOW could you be out of those things with ZERO customers in the joint?! and SADLY, my rootbeer ham sandwich was so bad, I couldn't even bring myself to finish it! As for Guy Fieri's show? I'm beginning to wonder if he just tells viewers how wonderful the food is for ANY & ALL restaurants he visits whether it's bad or not. I say this because half of the food he "claims" is the bomb on his shows is outright horrible...and THAT is a terrible percentage when 2 adventurous eaters like myself and my husband love to chase down restaurants just because we saw them featured on Foodnetwork!

My husband and I planned a weekend trip and we decided to find a joint off of diners, drive, ins and dives. We went to Mahony's. They have the best New Orleans style poboys! My husband got the jumbo shrimp and I got the pot roast poboy loaded. We will most definitely be going back! Thanks Guy!!

the whole menu looks like I could make a very easy meal, I would like the entire receipe for the sweet potato pie also featured in this episode to take to . It had the torched marshmallows on top...looking good and gooey. Also want to make the pulled pork sandwiches for my staff this week...they will go crazy. Can you break them both down and recommend a goof BBQ sauce, I am just down on Stoney Point so I will even pick it up, Please help my feed my hard working staff on a very busy week. Thanks for the help.
They really love to eat if I bring it.
