While on vacation we tried this place based on the positive reviews on line. I have to say that I absolutely loved my meals here. The first time we stopped for lunch and tried the Fleur De Lis Chicken. The meal was so good that we made two more visits for breakfast. For breakfast we had the Plantation Breakfast. And once again it was delicious. It's not a very big restaurant, but everyone was so nice & if you are in the area I highly recommend trying this place out!

We were living in southern Mississippi at the time we decided to visit New Orleans and knew we were going to try one of Guy's places on DDD. My boys and I got the fried seafood sampler. All of the seafood tasted the same. After supper I wished I had only gotten a double helping of the etouffee. It was off the hook! However, I don't think we'll go back. Maybe for lunch. There weren't enough diners there to leave me with the impression that it was a must-eat-at place. Besides, there are too many other places to eat in New Orleans.

Service was slow. Servers tended to congregate behind the bar. We noticed our appetizers sitting under the lamp for at least 10 minutes. Our entrees arrived at the table just behind our appetizers and were lukewarm. We won't be going back. The flavor was good, but there are too many other places in New Orleans to choose from.
