Orrell's Maryland Beaten Biscuits
- ratings & reviews(0)
The Orrell family has been (literally) beating biscuits since 1935. A process developed when leaveners like yeast were in short supply, bakers beat air into the dough with hammers. A machine has since replaced the hammer, but these tender Maryland staples are still rolled, baked and bagged by hand.
