We loved this place, it is a small hole in the wall, but the food was fantastic, the waiter had a great personality. My husband had the Dead Texan and I had the Portabella - bachi and it was amazing. Their beer selection is fantastic. We will definetly go back

Our son was visiting from A2, MI. He had seen this episode on 3D, and wanted to try the Dead Texan. So a trip to the southside of KC to Swagger's. This is classified as a dive for the atmosphere, but the food is FINE DINING! We had the wings as an appetizer with the BBQ and the Jerk, both were great. Mom had the Castro, I had the Suribachi, the son had as I said, the Dead Texan, and our daughter had the KY Colonel. We all thought our sandwiches were the best! I'm giving Swagger a call to find out where I can purchase their BBQ sauce, it beats gate's and arthur bryants hands down!
