We drove an extra 2.5 hours out of our way to try this chicken, and it did not disappoint. It was moist, crispy and delicious. The buffet of sides were equally as good but the chicken was definitely the star of the show. Don't be afraid of the outside, or location of this place. It is literally in the middle of no where, and is in an old general store (hence the name. Knick knacks line the walls and it reminds you of antique stores you would visit with your parents on the weekends. All of this added to the excellence of the experience and I can definitely say this is the best friend chicken I have ever had. EVER.
TIP- If you are using the mobile app, the location listed on the map shows Hattiesburg as the location of this restaurant. DO NOT go to Hattiesburg. The restaurant is in Lorman, MS.
