The skylark is a very attractive diner from the outside to the rest rooms. The place was packed and the service was pretty good. However, I wasn't impressed with my food. I ordered the St. Louis burger (mushroom onions and Swiss which was good, but the fries and coleslaw tasted store bought, additionally the serving of fries was smaller than a small McDonald's. My fiance ordered sharp Cheddar and got white American (after which they said "that is our cheddar" We didn't stay for dessert because we were not impressed with our $10+ burgers. They did have a nice beer and wine selection. However, I'm not going back even though it's less than 10 mins from our house.
