This diner is our absolute favorite! All of the friends we have introduced it to share our enthusiasm.
No, the place is not fancy.
No, the food is not gourmet.
However, service is great, staff is friendly, portions are generous and food is prepared tastily.
Early bird specials are, in a word, unbelievable! Soup AND salad, unlimited beverage, main dish with two sides plus dessert ... all around $8.
Small and intimate, a real family kind of place.
DO NOT MISS IT!!

My wife and I drove out of our way to try this place out since Guy had recommended it. We purchased two hamburgers and onion rings. The portions were small, there were about 10 steak fries on each of our plates, the hamburgers were dry and the buns were stale. The onion rings were tasteless and not many of them. We we found ourselves adding a lot of salt to them to get some taste to them. The onion rings would have been better if it came with some dipping sauce.
Overall nothing special here we were both disappointed when we left. Maybe we were expecting more because it was featured on Guy's show. Maybe I would have had better luck eating thier breakfast. Don't think we'll ever use Guy's advice to pick a place to eat at again.

Very friendly service and very large portions. My son ordered banana pancakes and got 5 large ones, way more than he could eat. We had a lot of leftovers. Cheap prices too. Remember, its diner food, so its pretty simple but good.
