I think this restaurant has the best authentic Mexican food in Albuquerque! I know it has the best sopaipillas! Red and Green Chile is excellent! We had the enchiladas and huevos rancheros and I go back to this restaurant every time I return to NM! It's the first place I go to for breakfast! Service is friendly and good. No need for any other restaurant if you want Mexican food at a reasonable cost. Definitely on my Must Go To list.

This was our first experience with a Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives restaurant. The green chili chicken soup was awesome. My husband and I shared a bowl. I wish I had ordered more to take home. I had a chicken burrito (the chicken was so tender and moist, and my husband had the #9 as tried by Guy Fieri on his visit. Mary Alice was our server--great personality, efficient, and knowledgeable. The service was excellent and the food was great.

Both me and my husband had the enchiladas, and they were both very good at a reasonable price. We also got an order of the chips and salsa, all of which is homemade and packed excellent flavor with more than a little heat.
The service was what really stood out though. Our drinks never ran empty and the food was out promptly after we ordered it. What was really outstanding though was that when we explained that we were not terribly familiar with the style of cooking, our server brought out a sampling of salsas and chilies to make our tongues sweat.
In short, if we were going to be staying in the Albuquerque area, we would most definitely turn into regulars here.
